Human Resources Manager

DEPARTMENT: Finance
REPORTS TO: CEO
JOB PURPOSE: ACF Technologies (www.acftechnologies.com) is looking for a talented individual to lead the planning, directing, and coordinating of HR functions including recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, performance management, and employee benefits. The Human Resources Manager must have strong interpersonal skills compatible with a team work environment. This person must be proactive in identifying company needs and follow through with a solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be a business partner and resource for managers to understand their human resource related challenges and work with them to develop and implement solutions
  • Consult with managers on employee relations issues
  • Develop, recommend and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures
  • Manage the company’s HRIS system to support automated and efficient HR processes
  • Manage benefit and wellness plans ensuring compliance, accurate enrollments, clear communication, and cost effectiveness
  • Work with managers to implement recruiting and retention strategies and assist with screening candidates; job offers; new-employee orientations; career-path program and exit interviews.
  • Work with managers to respond to unemployment claims, workers’ comp claims and other legal issues
  • Oversee affirmative action program; file EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other government compliance requirements
  • Manage the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as necessary; conducts annual compensation analysis, monitors the performance evaluation program and provide guidance on merit increases
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Experience, Competencies and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related experience
  • 3 + years of HR Experience
  • Experience leading projects
  • HRIS experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Project management
