Business Development Professional

Department:  Sales and Marketing
Reports to:  National Sales Manager
Purpose:  The Business Development Professional (BDP) will be responsible for growing and managing ACF product sales within an assigned territory.  In addition, the BDP will complete individual assignments as directed by the National Sales Manager.   

Primary Objectives:  

  • Profitable territory growth
  • Sales – new customers and current customer expansion
  • Market – new contracts in assigned vertical market
  • Territory - geographic expansion within the assigned territory
  • Product – product expansion within new and current customers
  • Lead Generation – assigned ACF products

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initial Customer Contact – phone and site visits
  • Demonstrations – web and on-site
  • Contract negotiations / Bid submittals
  • Quote / Order processing
  • CRM duties
  • Market research
  • Trade show participation

Job Requirements & Skills:

  • Computer – Microsoft® Office, Google Docs, Q-Flow, Go To Meeting
  • Literary – proficient writing skills
  • Research – market & territory research
  • Personable, professional, outgoing, and self-motivating
  • Travel - 50%, valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • 2+ Years of technology/software related sales experience preferred
