At ACF Technologies, we believe that innovation happens when operational expertise meets bold thinking. That’s why we’re excited to welcome Evan Romrell, Pharm.D., USN (Ret.), as a strategic collaborator in our mission to modernize patient experiences across federal healthcare.
Evan brings over two decades of distinguished military service and healthcare leadership to the table. Originally from Corvallis, Oregon, his career began in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served in the infantry and was among the first deployed to Afghanistan following 9/11. That experience set the foundation for a career built on resilience, discipline, and unwavering service.
After completing his military enlistment, Evan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Oregon State University and was commissioned into the Navy Medical Service Corps. He went on to hold pivotal leadership roles at Naval Hospital Bremerton, Naval Health Clinic Quantico, and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital—leading pharmacy departments, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and designing innovative, patient-focused solutions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
A driving force behind digital transformation in military pharmacy operations, Evan led the rollout of mobile prescription activation during the COVID-19 pandemic, implemented automation solutions to reduce wait times, and chaired the Defense Health Agency’s Pharmacy Expert Panel on Queuing, Analytics, and Patient Communication—helping to standardize queuing processes across the Navy, Army, and Air Force.
As ACF continues to expand its impact in federal healthcare, Evan’s operational insight, clinical background, and systems-level thinking offer invaluable perspective. His deep familiarity with Q-Flow, Q-Anywhere, and enterprise-level patient communication strategies makes him a natural ally in shaping more intelligent, responsive, and secure digital experiences for the Department of Defense and beyond.
While his formal role with ACF is still evolving, Evan’s track record speaks for itself. His reputation as a problem-solver, mentor, and forward thinker has earned him numerous military awards and the trust of leadership across multiple branches of the armed forces.
Outside of work, Evan is a proud father of six and a dedicated community leader—whether serving as a youth pastor, scoutmaster, or seminary teacher. His lifelong commitment to service mirrors the values we hold at ACF.
We’re thrilled to collaborate with Evan and look forward to the impact we’ll make together.
